This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the few things you may not do with Import.io. Everything else is up to you. It forms part of your agreement with Import.io; if anything here conflicts with that agreement, your agreement prevails.
1. Build freely
You may use Import.io however suits your business, including through our website, applications, APIs, SDKs, MCP server, integrations and your own automation, at whatever scale your plan allows.
2. Use it lawfully
You are responsible for using Import.io, and the data you collect with it, in line with the laws that apply to you, including laws on data protection, intellectual property, sanctions and export controls.
3. Don’t harm others or the service
Don’t use Import.io to:
- distribute malware or carry out attacks, such as denial-of-service attacks, against Import.io or anyone else;
- access systems or accounts you are not authorised to access; or
- store or share material that is unlawful to possess or distribute.
4. If something goes wrong
If we become aware of use that we reasonably believe breaks the law or puts the service or others at serious risk, we will contact you first wherever we reasonably can and work with you to resolve it. We will only restrict access where the law requires it or where it is needed to prevent serious harm, and we will limit any restriction to what is necessary.
5. Raising a concern
To raise a concern about how Import.io is being used, contact us through import.io/contact. To report a security vulnerability, email security@import.io.
6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page.
