We turn the web into data you can build on.

Import.io has been turning websites into structured, dependable data since 2012 — first for analysts, then for the retailers, brands and data companies that run on it, and now for AI. The web is the largest public dataset ever assembled. Our job is to make it usable by the people and machines that need it.

Fourteen years, one idea.

Point at a website, get the data. The idea hasn’t changed. What it takes to deliver it has.

2012

Founded

Import.io launches with a simple promise: turn any web page into structured data without writing code.

2015

Data sets on demand

Ready-made datasets, and Tableau showing the world how to answer questions with web data.

2019

Acquires Connotate

Web data at industrial scale, and the collection layer behind platforms that resell web data under their own names.

2025

Joins Neuralogics

Proven data infrastructure meets an AI platform, under the same name, with the same customers and teams.

2026

Web data infrastructure for AI

A web data MCP for AI agents, Aperture pricing intelligence, datasets relaunched, and a rebuilt platform.

“Anyone can write a web scraper. Managing and updating thousands of feeds every day is incredibly difficult.”

Why Import.io exists

What we believe.

Four things we learned the hard way, and build every product around.

01

Maintenance is the product.

Getting data once is easy. Getting it right every day, as sites change and defences escalate, is the actual job. We measure ourselves on the day ninety feed, not the demo.

02

Data you can’t trace isn’t data you can trust.

Every record should say where it came from, when, and how it was checked. Provenance is what lets a pricing team, a data company or a model builder rely on it.

03

People should work on insight, not infrastructure.

Most of our programs replace tools that underperform, or free internal teams to go back to analysis. That is the point of buying rather than building.

04

The next user of the web is a machine.

AI agents and models now read the web more than people do. They need the same thing people always did from us: accurate, structured, current data. At machine speed.

Part of the Neuralogics group

Proven infrastructure, an AI platform on top.

Import.io joined the Neuralogics group in late 2025. Neuralogics brings together proven data software companies and runs them on a shared AI platform. For Import.io that means the same name, customers and teams — with more engineering behind the extraction engine and faster work on AI-native products.

Questions people ask about us.

Straight answers.

Is Import.io still operating?

Yes. Import.io is active in 2026 as part of the Neuralogics group, serving customers with web data extraction, managed web data and Aperture pricing intelligence, and shipping new products including the Web Scraper MCP for AI agents.

What happened to Import.io? Was it acquired?

Import.io joined the Neuralogics group in late 2025. It continues to operate under the Import.io name, with the same platform, customers and teams, and is investing in AI-native products on top of its extraction engine.

Who owns Import.io?

Import.io is part of the Neuralogics group, which brings together proven data software companies and runs them on a shared AI platform.

When was Import.io founded?

In 2012. It has run web data extraction in production continuously since then, and acquired Connotate in 2019.

Where is Import.io based?

Headquartered in San Francisco, with engineering, anti-bot and delivery teams across the US and Europe and operations running 24/7.

What does Import.io do?

Import.io turns websites into structured data. It offers a self-service extraction platform, fully managed web data delivery, the Aperture pricing and MAP application, a web data MCP for AI agents, and maintained datasets.

Does Import.io still offer a free trial?

Yes. The 30-day free trial includes 5,000 successful queries and needs no credit card. Self-service plans start at $199 a month on a 12-month term billed monthly.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Point-and-click and AI-assisted extractors need no code. Developers can use the API, SDKs and MCP server, and the managed service needs neither.

The web is the dataset.
We make it usable.
