  • From the dashboard, select an extractor from the list of your extractors in the left-side navigation pane.
  • Click the Run history tab.
  • Click the Download results icon for a particular run, and select your desired download format from the list. The file downloads to the download folder configured in your browser.

The following data download formats are available:

  • Excel format

  • JSON format

To view your data in software like Excel and avoid possible encoding and delimiter conversion errors, use Excel format. To view your data in analysis software such as Stata and Tableau, use CSV format. To manipulate your data programmatically, JSON format is often the better choice. You can also integrate data from your runs with Google Sheets and automate the process of extracting CSV or JSON data with the Import.io API.

Downloading images and files

When you enable image capture or file capture in the Import.io editor, Import.io creates a GZIP file containing all the images and files during each extractor run. The images and files in the GZIP file are organized in folders following your column naming convention.

Note: This option is available only with Import.io annually-paid subscriptions.
