On the dev team here at import•io we’re frustrated when web services we need and love to use go down, or perform maintenance when we’re not expecting it.
We work hard to make our systems highly available and to make sure our system rollouts are as seamless as possible. However, we may have times where the system experiences elevated at-risk status, or we have to do an update which may make some of the site unavailable for a few minutes.
To help you keep on top of when these at-risk scenarios arise, or to give you an advanced heads-up on when we are doing releases (even if they won’t involve any down time) we have created our status blog and twitter account.
You can view the blog by visiting http://status.import.io in your browser or on your mobile device; it’s hosted off our main systems so even if we’re down, it should be up.
You can also get up to the second updates from our dedicated twitter account (no marketing, we promise): @importio_ops.
Please bookmark these services if you rely on import•io, so that we can keep you updated at all times.
