Import.io is pleased to announce that we’ll be presenting at this year’s InnoTech Summit as part of Big Data Week London on the 26th of April. The InnoTech Summit is one of the UK’s leading technology business events, which aims to accelerate growth of the UK tech economy by bringing together entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers.
This year’s InnoTech Summit, which takes place at new FinTech accelerator Level39 in Canary Wharf, will focus on the investment needs of second stage ventures in the tech industry. Having been recognised as a ‘game changer’ in the UK tech scene, we’ve been chosen to represent this stratum of the startup community. Our aim is to show investors and policy makers what the industry has to offer the UK economy, and we’ll be engaging with government officials and financiers to talk about what the tech community needs in order to develop.
The event’s high-profile speakers, include: Rohan Silva, Senior Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister; Edmund Truell, Pension Fund Manager; Marcus Stuttard, Head of AIM at the London Stock Exchange; and Mayor of London, Boris Johnson. Boris will deliver the keynote address and host his inaugural Google Hangout with top executives from London, Silicon Valley and San Francisco to promote the London tech economy.
Comedian, Sanderson Jones will host the event, which also includes education and policy panels, big data focus, plus break out sessions on immigration and quantifying social media, as well as lighting pitches curated by CityMeetsTech.
The InnoTech Summit is a great opportunity to engage with investors, potential partners, and policy makers, so be sure to attend if you’re part of London’s tech scene. Tickets are £150 and can be purchased on the InnoTech Website here.
